BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Before starting R. B. Douglass & Associates in 1980, Bob was Chief Engineer for Daubert Coated Products, Inc. (now Loparex LLC) for ten years. During that time, he designed equipment to process emulsion and solvent coatings including silicone, non-silicone, and adhesive systems. Much of his experience has dealt with establishing drying and curing conditions to achieve optimum coating and curing results. The oven systems used include forced air, both conventional and floater, infrared drying/curing enhancement, and ultraviolet curing. He has had total project responsibility for design of complete coating line packages. He supervised the erection and start-up of these lines, and provided operator training. These projects ranged in width from 36" to 288", and up to 1600 FPM. Most were capable of applying three coatings, laminating, and printing, all in-line.
Prior to Daubert, Bob's employment was with Beloit Corporation as a Research Engineer. Beloit Corporation was a major equipment supplier to the pulp and paper industry. During this seven-year period, most of his work related to heat and mass transfer, research in the drying of tissue and chilled iron metallurgy. Designs were also developed for paper machine rod coating equipment. The applications were both on-machine and off-machine coaters, up to 2500 FPM and 220" wide.

BARBARA BURKE, Office Manager, Bachelor of Science, University of California at Davis
Barbara has been employed by the company since February of 1998. Her duties consist of all aspects of office management and administrative support. She also works with clients to provide scheduling and resource utilization for projects, to transfer existing drawings into AutoCAD format, and to produce accurate Bills of Material for newly designed and existing machinery.
